(WOODHULL, NY) – Mother Nature did not allow Woodhull Raceway to complete their full compliment of racing on Saturday night. Rains swept through after the completion of the Street Stock feature, forcing the cancellation of the Hobby Stocks, Mini Stocks, Front Wheel Drives and Warrior features.

This weekend though, the Hobby Stocks and Mini Stocks will pull double duty as they make up their rained out feature from August 1 and race in a full night of weekly action.

Chris Woodard, Scott Brown and Jeredd Dennis are locked in a wicked battle for the Woodhull Auto Supply Hobby Stock division point lead. Each driver has had a finish of 9th or worse in the last two point shows, which has made this race very interesting heading into August.

Meanwhile, Jason Ketrow sits atop the Wicked Tees Mini Stock leaderboard with 126 points. But nipping at his heels, just two markers shy of the lead, is the two-sport scholar athlete out of Corning, NY- Brody Amidon. Amidon locked down his first Mini Stock division win two point shows ago and is riding the hot hand coming into double feature night this weekend.

Pizza ‘N’ Stuff and Dave’s Custom Logging will pair up to sponsor this weekend’s racing action. Both businesses, located in Westfield, PA, are strong supporters of the motorsports community and will put that on display Saturday night.

Pizza ‘N’ Stuff is now owned and operated by former Woodhull Raceway owners Ted and Brandi White after taking over operations earlier this year. A pizza and catering restaurant, Pizza ‘N’ Stuff offers traditional pizza shop food items and a catering menu to service their customers. They also offer local delivery and have recently renovated their shop conveniently located in downtown Westfield.

Dave’s Custom Logging has been a great supporter of Woodhull Raceway long before becoming a weekly sponsor. Owned and operated by Dave Youse- Youse was a longtime racer at “New York’s Toughest Bullring” before passing the reigns off to his son. That son now carrying the title of Woodhull Warrior track champion and current NAPA Crate Sportsman competitor Cole Youse.

This week’s program will feature all weekly divisions including the Insinger Performance Modifieds, NAPA Crate Sportsman, Cummings Trucking Crate Late Models, Joe Willcox Performance Automatics Street Stocks, Woodhull Auto Supply Hobby Stocks, Wicked Tees Mini Stocks, Johnson Auto Front Wheel Drives and the Wicked Tees Warriors.

The Pits will open at 3:30PM with the driver’s meeting scheduled for 5:45PM at the pit shack. Hot Laps will fire off at 6PM and the first green flag from Tony Van Pelt will fly at 6:30PM. Pit passes are set at $35 with Pit Passes for ages under 12 being a reduced price of $20. All divisions will be draw/redraw, transponders will be used.

In lieu of fans being able to attend the race program in the grandstands, there will be a live video feed provided on the Woodhull Raceway Twitch & YouTube pages. Race fans are encouraged to make a small donation for the live video coverage, which goes directly toward the driver’s point fund for 2020.
