(WOODHULL, NY) – If you go to your favorite dirt track and love the Street Stock divisions that compete, Woodhull Raceway has a show right up your alley for Saturday night.

Joe Willcox Performance Automatics and Schweigart’s Maple Equipment will present Saturday's event highlighted by the 6th Annual Street Stock ‘Woodhull 100’ for the Street Stock competitors. Also in competition will be a 30-lap $800-to-win Crate Sportsman special (24 car minimum) & 30-lap $500-to-win Hobby Stock special.

The first trip to Woodhull Raceway will also take place for the NY6A Micro Sprint Series. They will also be joined by Open Mini Stocks, Open Front Wheel Drives and Crate Late Models.

Championship Night races for the Hobby Stocks and Front Wheel Drives will also be made up on this night. The Hobby Stocks will resume their race in order from Lap 9. The Front Wheel Drive race will run in its entirety.

What started as an extra-distance, extra-purse race for the local racers has now blossomed into one of the biggest races for all street stock drivers from over 5 to 6 different tracks. Drivers running for bigger payouts as well as lap money and huge bragging rights for the impending offseason.

Jon Stuart has headed up the contingency and lap sponsor program for several years now. This year set a record high with lap sponsors and contingencies totaling over $5,000.

The Woodhull 100 is a 100-lap event paying a cool $1,000-to-win and $100 just to take the green flag. Glenn Whritenour used patience and a bad fast racecar to take the race lead just before halfway in 2019 to win his second Woodhull 100. The win tied Whritenour with Kurt Stebbins for two wins a piece in this prestigious event. With over $11,000 in purse money and contingency money and prizes, the ‘Woodhull 100’ will not disappoint in 2020.

Previous Woodhull 100 Winners:

2015 Gene Balmer

2016 Kurt Stebbins

2017 Glenn Whritenour

2018 Kurt Stebbins

2019 Glenn Whritenour

Rules for the Woodhull 100 will follow Home Track Rules.

Joe Willcox Performance Automatics, located in the Gaines/Westfield, PA area, will also be on hand to present the action and welcome all Street Stock competitors. Also supporting Woodhull Raceway as the Street Stock division sponsor, the dynamic duo of Joe and Jean Willcox are Woodhull fixtures that give back a great deal to Southern Tier racers from their self-proclaimed 'little operation in Westfield.'

They already have well over 100 victories in this COVID-19 effected race season up and down the Eastern Seaboard. They supply transmissions that power racers all over New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and the Carolinas. They even have a large clientele at Port Royal Speedway, which has made headlines all season long in 2020.

Schweigart’s Sugar Shack & Maple Equipment Sales, located in Woodhull, will help present this weekend’s racing activity at “New York’s Toughest Bullring.” If it’s made with maple- Schweigart’s makes it or can help you make it with the best maple equipment products in the industry.

Schweigart’s has an impressive list of maple products that include items like mustard, syrups, sugar, marinade, nuts, cream, honey and barbecue sauces. They are not only a great supporter of the track but a supporter of several of Woodhull’s competitors as well.

The Pits will open at 4:00PM with Hot Laps firing off at 5:30PM and the first green flag from Tony Van Pelt flying at 6:00PM. Pit passes are set at $40 with Pit Passes for ages under 12 being a reduced price of $20. All divisions will be draw/redraw, transponders will be used.

In lieu of fans being able to attend the race program in the grandstands, there will be a live video feed provided on the Woodhull Raceway Twitch & YouTube pages.
