(WOODHULL,NY)- Who will be crowned the ‘King’ this weekend? Last year we saw veteran driver, Kenny Peoples Jr. beat Jake Dgien. Last weekend we saw Dgien beat Peoples Jr. in the feature event.

That question will be answered on Saturday night as Dave’s Custom Logging presents the racing action on the High Banks. NAPA Auto Parts, the Crate Sportsman division sponsor, will also present the annual King of the Ring event for the Crate drivers.

The King of the Ring is a ‘knockout style’ single elimination match race that sees drivers compete in two laps match races. The winner of each match race moves on to the next round, while the second place car heads back to the trailer to make final adjustments for that night’s A-Main.

Dave’s Custom Logging will be on hand sponsoring the racing action in all divisions including the Insinger Performance Modifieds, NAPA Crate Sportsman, Joe Willcox Performance Automatics Street Stocks, Cummings Trucking RUSH Crate Late Models, Woodhull Auto Supply Hobby Stocks, Johnson’s Auto Supply FWD, and Daugherty Auto Sales and Service Mini Stocks and Woodhull Warriors.

Before the races fans can see some of the cars and meet the drivers. Also the junior fans can practice their corn hole skills before they can have a chance to compete against the drivers of the ‘High Banks’ the following weekend.

Fans can find their way into the grandstands Saturday at 4:30 for only $12 for adults 13 and up. Seniors 62+ and Students 8-12 will be $6. Children 7 and under are always free at Woodhull Raceway. Free camping is offered on the speedway grounds for those wishing to make it a weekend of family, friends and dirt track racing.

Race fans are encouraged to sign up for the fastest alerts from Woodhull Raceway’s Rained Out Alert system by sending the text message “WoodhullAlert” to 84483, message and data rates may apply.
