(WOODHULL,NY)- Early in the off season it was announced Woodhull Raceway would start using a transponder system in all divisions. This was a step up from having no transponders in any division years prior.

The system being used for the 2019 race season will be the MyLaps transponder. All classes will be required to have a transponder. However the system is still being set up and will not be up and running for the first race, April 20.

The system should be up and running the first weekend of May. If the date for this changes drivers will be notified. Due to the system not being set up yet drivers will not need a transponder for the April 20 and April 27 races.

The first race is set for April 20 for all supporting divisions. Fans can find their way into the grandstands Saturday at 4:30 for only $12 for adults 13 and up. Seniors and ages 8-12 will be $6. Children 7 and under are always free at Woodhull Raceway. Free camping is offered on the speedway grounds for those wishing to make it a weekend of family, friends and dirt track racing.
