(WOODHULL, NY) - While Mother Nature hasn't been kind to the area Friday night racing facilities, she has been in a rather pleasant mood on Saturdays so far. This week expects to be no different as Woodhull Raceway is set to open its 2016 campaign for the Insinger Performance 370 Modifieds.
Last week saw the temperatures dip well below 50 degrees for the evening, but Saturday's forecast shows Woodhull being solidly in the upper 50's all day and not dipping below 50 degrees until after the races have been completed.
It's a perfect night to bring the family out for a night of Saturday night Short Track action as the Insinger Performance 370 Modifieds return to the High Banks, ready to let the dirt fly on 'New York's Toughest Bullring' on a night brought to you by Mountain Dew and Pepsi. They will join a racing card including the NAPA Crate Sportsman SWL 360 Late Models, Joe Willcox Performance Automatics Street Stocks, Daugherty Auto Sales Mini Stocks and Woodhull Auto Supply Front Wheel Drives. The Daugherty Auto Sales Warriors have this week off.
It will be an exciting night of racing action with the grandstands opening at 4:30pm with our $1 off Early Bird Special until 5:30pm. General admission for ages 13 and up is just $11 with Seniors and ages 8-12 being $6. Children 7 and under are always FREE at Woodhull Raceway.
Woodhull has a full line of concession stands ready to serve up the best hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken and soft serve ice cream in the area- so let Woodhull do the cooking on Saturday night! We also boast a Junior Fan program for ages 3 to 12, sponsored by Joe and Jean Willcox from Joe Willcox Performance Automatics.

Woodhull Raceway can be found in Woodhull, NY, just 30 minutes West of Corning, NY, competing weekly on Saturday nights from mid-April all the way until Labor Day Weekend. The track offers numerous special events including the Patriot Sprint Tour 360 Sprints and the Short Track Super Series Modifieds in mid-August.
