Woodhull Loses Another Event In 2021 To Wet Grounds

Story By: Kenny Shupp Jr.

Woodhull, NY- After a successful Jim Williams Memorial Event last Saturday which featured absolutely perfect summer weather, this past week was anything but perfect as numerous heavy rain and thunderstorms pelted the Twin Tiers Region of Upstate New York dousing the area with several inches of rain including a severe storm Friday afternoon which completely flooded the track and infield of the facility.

The track ownership knew late day Friday that they were going to need a miracle to get the track ready for Saturday’s action. The entire place was saturated including all the parking lots and pit area and even with a much better forecast showing improvement throughout the day it was just to wet.
