(Woodhull, NY) Second year Woodhull Raceway owners/promoters, Terry and Niki Brewer will welcome members of the local Fire and Rescue Squads as well as EMS and Law Enforcement Officials on Saturday, May 8, 2021 with the night sponsored by the Canisteo Police Club, Hornell Police Club, Corning Benevolence Association and the Steuben County Deputies Association.

A long tradition of having Fire and Rescue Night that began decades ago will continue in 2021 after a year off in 2020 due to regulations surrounding the Covid 19 Pandemic which shut down all fan and special event participation at the historic Steuben County facility.

“We are extremely proud to welcome all of our local Fire, Rescue, EMS, First Responders and Police as our special guests at the track for a night of relaxation away from their hectic professional lives. All they need to do is show applicable identification and they are allowed access into the facility free of charge. It’s our way of saying thank you to the men and women that have thankless jobs and provide a valuable community service.” That according to the Brewer’s.

All Fire Departments, Ambulance Squads and Police Agencies are welcome to bring along any vehicles that they would like to display during the night of activity as they will be located at the rear of the grandstand seating area and it is all presented by the Canisteo Police Club along with the Hornell Police Club, The Corning Police Benevolence Association as well as the Deputies Association County Steuben

On the track it will be a Great 8 night of exciting race action as the Insinger Performance Mighty Modifieds will headline the card as they will be complimented by the NAPA 602 Crate Sportsman and the Cummings Trucking RUSH Late Models. Also seeing action will be the Joe Willcox Performance Street Stocks, the Big Jim’s Wicked Tee’s 4 Cylinder Mini Stocks and the Johnson Auto Supply Front Wheel Drive Division. In addition, it will be the Woodhull Auto Parts Hobby Stocks as well as the Big Jim’s Wicked Tee’s Youth Warrior’s.

Pit and Grandstand gates for the May 8 event open at 4:30 with the first green flag of the night waving at 6:30 pm.

The opening night show at Woodhull on Saturday, April 24 produced an incredible car count of some 150 machines representing all the weekly classes that compete at the historic Steuben County venue. Joe Dgien in Modifieds, Josh Keesey in the Crate Sportsman along with Brian Knowles in RUSH Late Models, Scott Brown in Hobby Stocks and Codie Baker in FWD all laid their claim to the 2021 Track Championships in their respective classes by picking up opening night feature wins, however there is a long way to go and any driver in any class can take home the season titles.
