‘Steve Kent Memorial 100’ Lap Sponsorship Underway

(WOODHULL,NY)- It’s that time of year again for the Joe Willcox Performance Automatics Steve Kent Memorial 100. Also formerly known as the Woodhull 100. What started as a small race for the local drivers has now become one of the largest and best street stock races in New York State. Featuring drivers from 5 to 6 different tracks.
In 2018 we had one of our best years ever collecting lap sponsors collecting over $4300 in cash and prizes. Our goal this season is to try and hit the $5000 mark. Kurt Stebbins walked away with over $1200 in cash and prizes after leading 99 of the 100 laps.
With this race now being the ‘Steve Kent Memorial’ we are hoping to see some really hard fought battles to see who can take home the hardware. July 25, 2019 opened the collection of lap sponsors. Starting the week of August 3, 2019 Jon Stuart will begin being at Woodhull Raceway every other week to collect lap sponsors for all 100 laps as well as our three contingencies. The contingencies are hard charger, hard luck and move of the race.
All normal laps 1-100 are a minimum of $20 per lap with no max. The three contingencies are once again a minimum of $50 each with no max. We also have two five lap dash races that will set the top 12 starting spots that are available for a minimum of $75 each as well. Heat races are also available for a minimum of $50 each heat. If you would like to come up with your own contingencies they must be a minimum of $25. Laps taken do not have to be in cash form. They can be gift certificates or prizes as long as they meet the minimum.
As always we will not double up any lap until all 100 laps have been sold. With the exception this year of lap 92. Lap 92 will be In memory of Steve Kent and will be started at $20. Lap 92 will remain open the entire time laps are being sold and you can put any amount you would like on that lap. Steve was always the first to take a lap and would always take lap 92 for $100. We would like to in his memory build lap 92 as high as possible.

All lap money needs to be paid in full before the 28th of September unless other arrangements have been made.
