(WOODHULL,NY)- Last week the ‘high banks’ saw rain and was forced to cancel their scheduled events. The racing action is back this weekend with hopes of sunshine and warm weather as the Patriot Sprint Tour Series makes their way to the ‘bullring’. This Saturday, July 13 will be the second of three shows PST will be running.

May 11, Davie ‘No Panic’ Franek came to Woodhull Raceway for the first time and brought home the win.

“This race track is amazing” Franek said in victory lane. “You can race anywhere bottom, middle, top, wherever you need to be.” The high side seemed to work for Franek as he made a last lap pass on the outside to win over Gerard McIntyre, May 11.

The question is can Franek make it a repeat this Saturday July 13?

When the 360 sprint cars take to “New York’s Toughest Bullring” it is a sight of epic proportions as the skill of the drivers and the raw horsepower of the methanol breathing 360 cubic inch engines collide. It is something you do not want to miss.

With the sprint cars in attendance Saturday, the Crate Late Models and Woodhull Warriors will have the night off. They will return to action Saturday July 20.

Lamb and Webster will be presenting all the action this Saturday. Founded in 1960, Lamb & Webster is the go-to location for equipment sales, service and parts for all of your farm equipment needs. With the flagship store in Springville, NY, Lamb & Webster has proudly served the Woodhull community since 2002.

Their Woodhull location proudly offers New Holland, Kubota, Cub Cadet and many other product lines…including equipment financing! Lamb & Webster proudly presents the Patriot Sprint Tour this week and will return as the headline sponsor for the July 27 Lucas Oil Tractor Pull.

The driver autograph session for the sprint car drivers will run a little differently in hopes to accommodate the drivers and fans. After the sprint car heats those finishing in the top 8 will be over behind the grandstands to sign autographs. The Jr. Fan booth will have autograph books available at the beginning of the night. As usual there will be some of our weekly division cars behind the grandstands for fans to look at and meet the drivers.

Fans can find their way into the grandstands Saturday at 4:30 for only $18 for adults 13 and up. Seniors and ages 8-12 will be $10. Children 7 and under are always free at Woodhull Raceway. Pit passes have been set at $40.

Our weekly Early Bird Special runs from 4:30-5:30 and offers $1 off general admission. Woodhull Raceway offers plenty of space for free camping on site. The green flag for the first set of heat races will be dropped by Tony Van Pelt at 6:30.
