Brico Technologies And Canisteo Police Club Present Woodhull’s Salute To Fire, EMS, And Law Enforcement

(WOODHULL,NY) - Each year Woodhull Raceway likes to honor those who help serve our community. This Saturday May 18 anyone who is a fire, EMS, or law enforcement gets FREE general admission with valid Fire/EMS/Law Enforcement i.d. This Saturday will also be the first of three power wheels races.

Those in attendance are encouraged to wear a department t-shirt or polo to proudly promote the community they serve. Several events and different forms of participation will be incorporated into the night’s activities. There will be fire apparatus and a few of Woodhull’s race cars on display as fans enter the admission gates at 4:30.

The power wheels races will be held during intermission. Adam Taft Racing has sponsored the event for the kids. Kids are encouraged to bring a stock power wheels and enter in their corresponding age group. The age groups this year will be 3-6 and 7-12. Sign ups will be located at the Junior Fan booth.

Brico Technologies has been a long time sponsor of ‘New York’s Toughest Bullring’. They are the leading motorola radio dealer and warranty service center. They have two locations in Elmira and Wellsville, NY.

Canisteo Police Club is a part of the Canisteo Village Police. There goal is to support and promote the interaction between law enforcement and the community. They will have police cars on display for fans.

Saturday will be a full card of racing with all divisions in attendance. Codie Baker, Jeredd Dennis and Billy Van Pelt have all went two for two. Saturday night will kick off handicap which will be in place for all divisions.

Fans can find their way into the grandstands Saturday at 4:30 for only $11 for adults 13 and up. Seniors and ages 8-12 will be $6. Children 7 and under are always free at Woodhull Raceway.

Our weekly Early Bird Special runs from 4:30-5:30 and offers $1 off general admission. Woodhull Raceway offers plenty of space for free camping on site. The green flag for the first set of heat races will be dropped by Tony Van Pelt at 6:30.

Woodhull Racewat can be found in Woodhull, NY, just 30 minutes West of Corning, NY, competing weekly on Saturday nights from mid-April all the way until Labor Day Weekend. The track offers numerous special invents including the Patriot Sprint Tour 360 Sprints and the Short Track Super Series Modifieds in mid-August.
