(WOODHULL) – Saturday night’s action on the High Banks of the Woodhull Raceway will be dedicated to the fine men and women of our armed forces and veterans of the armed forces. The racing program this week, is presented by Shawknee Acres Farms.
It is because of the sacrifices that the men and women of our military make that allow us to come out to our favorite dirt tracks and enjoy ourselves in a free country. In supporting their work and sacrifice, Woodhull Raceway will offer free general admission to military veterans and any active duty service members in attendance on Saturday night.
It is a big racing weekend in the Southern Tier with several national touring series making their way into Watkins Glen International this weekend. If you’re spending the day time at WGI, make your way just West of Corning on Saturday night to see some of the best dirt track competition on ‘New York’s Toughest Bullring.’
All of Woodhull Raceway’s racing divisions will be on hand including the Insinger Performance 370 Modifieds, NAPA Crate Sportsman, SWL 360 Late Models, Joe Willcox Performance Automatics Street Stocks, Daugherty Auto Sales Mini Stocks, Woodhull Auto Supply Front Wheel Drives and Daugherty Auto Sales Warriors.
The Woodhull Warriors have been added to the weekly schedule for the remainder of the season, however only the dates posted on the 2016 schedule will count for points the rest of the season as voted on by the drivers and parents in the division. This week is a regularly scheduled points paying event for the Warriors.
Fans can find their way into the grandstands Saturday at 4:30 for only $11 for adults 13 and up. Seniors and ages 8-12 will be $6. Children 7 and under are always free at Woodhull Raceway. Free camping is offered on the speedway grounds for those wishing to make it a weekend of family, friends and dirt track racing.

Woodhull Racewat can be found in Woodhull, NY, just 30 minutes West of Corning, NY, competing
weekly on Saturday nights from mid-April all the way until Labor Day Weekend. The track offers
numerous special invents including the Patriot Sprint Tour 360 Sprints and the Short Track Super Series Modifieds in mid-August.
