(WOODHULL, NY) – Small, but powerful. A sight to be seen on ‘New York’s Toughest Bullring.’ The 270 Micro Sprints invade Woodhull Raceway on Saturday night, part of a two-day race weekend for the 270’s which includes Clinton County and Woodhull Raceway Friday and Saturday night.

A generous purse and countless numbers of contingencies will be on the line for the 270 micro contingent, including additives to the overall purse and several product gift certificates being up for grabs.

Kibbe’s Concrete, located on State Route 49 in Mills, PA, has been a great supporter of dirt track racing at Woodhull Raceway for years. This season they will present the annual ‘reunion-style’ visit of the 270 Micro Sprints, with local racing fanatic Donnie DuVall and DuVall Motorsports leading the way. His team’s efforts in attaining contingency sponsors only sweetens the already posted purse of well over $2,650.

Joe Willcox Performance Automatics, located in the Gaines/Westfield, PA area, will also be on hand to present the 2nd Annual Street Stock King of the Ring. Also supporting Woodhull Raceway as the Street Stock division sponsor and sponsor of the Junior Fan Program, the dynamic duo of Joe and Jean Willcox were the driving forces behind starting up the King of the Ring for the Street Stock contingent.

There’s also plenty for the kids on Saturday night as well that will make it a fun night for the family at the races. There are bicycle, bike helmet and back-to-school backpack giveaways. Each child will receive a ticket upon entry to the track Saturday afternoon. Race teams at Woodhull that would like to participate are encouraged to donate bike helmets or backpacks if they would like with a few back-to-school supplies inside for the kids.

All of Woodhull Raceway’s racing divisions will be on hand, including the Insinger Performance Modifieds, NAPA Crate Sportsman, SWL Awards Crate Late Models, Joe Willcox Performance Automatics Street Stocks, Woodhull Auto Supply Hobby Stocks, Daugherty Auto Sales & Service Mini Stocks, Bear’s Auto Body Front Wheel Drives and Daugherty’s Auto Sales & Service Warriors.

Fans can find their way into the grandstands Saturday at 4:30 for only $13 for adults 13 and up. Seniors and ages 8-12 will be $7. Our weekly Early Bird Special runs from 4:30-5:30 and offers $1 off general admission. Children 7 and under are always free at Woodhull Raceway. Free camping is offered on the speedway grounds for those wishing to make it a weekend of family, friends and dirt track racing.

The pit area will open at 3:30PM, with pit pass fees being set at $30.
