American Racer Tires/Sunoco Race Fuels To Support Woodhull Street Stock Series

(WOODHULL, NY) – Two great Woodhull Raceway sponsors have teamed up to support the first season of the Woodhull Raceway Street Stock Challenge Series.

Lias Tire of Indiana, Pennsylvania, the Northeast distributor for American Racer Tires, and Insinger Performance/Sunoco Race Fuels of Dushore, Pennsylvania will offer a great contingency program for those that support the Challenge Series.

Lias Tire will kick it off by awarding a Free tire to the top three finishing cars that are competing on American Racer tires in each of the three Challenge Series races on August 9, September 22 for the Woodhull 100 and the Challenge Series Finale on September 29 during Bullring Challenge Weekend. The racer will have their choice of Street Stock tire in stock at the track in exchange for their certificate.

In addition to the top three finishing cars on American Racers, Lias Tire has also chipped in an additional tire to be given away as part of the Lucky 7 Lap Money program for the Woodhull 100 on September 22. Drivers running in the top seven will earn lap money opportunities for cash awards that are a minimum of $20 or prizes of higher value.

Insinger Performance Fuels, the leading distributor of 99% pure methanol in the Northeast and New England, will also get in on the giveaways for the three-race Challenge Series. Each qualifying heat race winner during 2018 Challenge Series competition, will earn 5 gallons of Sunoco 110 fuel. In addition to the heat race winners, drivers finishing in positions 4, 5 and 6 will also earn 5 gallons of free Sunoco 110.

"We are thrilled to have both Lias Tire and Insinger Performance on board with the Challenge Series this year," said Woodhull Raceway Media Director Steven Ovens. "This Challenge Series will offer a lot of contingencies and will pay a point fund to the top 10 in points on September 29."

The first leg of the SS Challenge Series kicks off tonight at Woodhull Raceway. The Challenge Series will carry an entry fee of $20 per race, with all entries going directly into the Challenge Series point fund.

Brett Deyo's Short Track Super Series will invade the raceway tonight along with the STSS Crate 602 Sportsman Series and the Woodhull Street Stock Challenge Series. Hot Laps are scheduled for shortly after 6:00, with Tony Van Pelt's first green flag slated to wave at 7:00.

Woodhull Raceway is located in Woodhull, NY, just 30 minutes West of Corning, NY and competes weekly on Saturday nights from mid-April through Labor Day Weekend. The track offers several special events including the Patriot Sprint Tour 360 Sprints in May and July and the Short Track Super Series Modifieds in early-August.
