(WOODHULL) – Overnight and morning rain, coupled with cold temperatures and fog has forced Woodhull Raceway owners Ted and Brandi White to cancel their Saturday May 12 racing program featuring the Patriot Sprint Tour.
The cancellation and rescheduling of the Patriot Sprint Tour has set up what is going to be an epic night of racing in late June. Woodhull Raceway, Williams Construction & Sprayfoam, Universal Plant Services out of Louisiana and the Patriot Sprint Tour will present a one-of-a-kind show with the ‘Ultimate Patriots Tribute.’
This night will feature free general admission for the military veterans and active duty service men and woman in the community. These fine Patriots will get to see a great night of action watching the ‘Winged Patriots’ do battle at “New York’s Toughest Bullring.”
When the 360 sprint cars take to “New York’s Toughest Bullring” it is a sight of epic proportions as the skill of the drivers and the raw horsepower of the methanol breathing 360 cubic inch engines collide.
Also on the racing card for that night will be the Insinger Performance Modifieds, NAPA Crate Sportsman, Joe Willcox Performance Automatics Street Stocks, Woodhull Auto Supply Hobby Stocks, Daughtery’s Auto Sales & Service Mini Stocks and Bear's Auto Body Front Wheel Drives.
With the sprint cars in attendance Saturday June 23, the Crate Late Models and Woodhull Warriors will have the night off. The Street Stock Clash for Cash will still take place, however the 30-lap Mini Stock feature will move to a later date in the season.
Racing action returns to Woodhull Raceway next Saturday night as Woodhull Raceway and Brico Technologies present Fire, EMS and Law Enforcement Night. Free General Admission will be offered to all active serving fire, ems and law enforcement personnel with their department ID.

Woodhull Raceway can be found in Woodhull, NY, just 30 minutes West of Corning, NY, competing weekly on Saturday nights from mid-April all the way until Labor Day Weekend.
