7th Annual Bullring Challenge Weekend Friday & Saturday At Woodhull Raceway

(WOODHULL) – For the seventh year in a row, Ted and Brandi White will host Bullring Challenge Weekend at the Woodhull Raceway this Friday and Saturday nights sponsored by Costy Energy Services. This will be the final weekend of circle track racing on the High Banks for 2016, with only a bulls and barrels rodeo in two weeks left on the schedule.
Friday night kicks off the weekend of competition with an $800-to-win Grit Racing Series qualifier for the Crate Sportsman. The winner of Friday night’s feature will not only win $800, but will earn a guaranteed starting spot in Saturday night’s Grit Racing Series American Racer Series event. Friday night will NOT pay Grit Series points.
The 360 Late Models will also be on hand, along with Open Street Stocks, Quad C (RWD/FWD 4 Cylinders) and the Woodhull Warriors.
Fans can find their way into the grandstands Friday at 5:00 for only $12 for adults 13 and up. Seniors and ages 8-12 will be $6. Children 7 and under are always free at Woodhull Raceway.
Friday’s first green flag will be thrown by Scott Lyon at 7:00pm. Free camping is offered on the speedway grounds for those wishing to make it a weekend of family, friends and dirt track racing.
Saturday night’s championship will see Big Block/Small Block Modifieds go forty laps for $3,000-to-win in the 7th annual Bullring Challenge. The Grit Racing Series American Racer Series will go thirty laps for $1,000-to-win and $100 to take the green flag.
The 360 Late Models will compete in the final 360 Late Model event of their long history on the High Banks. Saturday will also see open Street Stocks and the finale Championship race for the Quad C division in 2016. The Quad C division is the only division left that must settle their season championship point race.
