(WOODHULL) – Small, but powerful. A sight to be seen on ‘New York’s Toughest Bullring.’ The 270 Micro Sprints invade Woodhull Raceway on Saturday night, part of a two-day race weekend for the 270’s which includes Clinton County and Woodhull Raceway Friday and Saturday night.
A generous purse and countless numbers of contingencies will be on the line for the 270 micro contingent, including additives to the overall purse and several product gift certificates being up for grabs. As fellow open wheel racers, the 270 micros will also pay tribute to fallen open wheel icon Bryan Clauson with special tribute stickers.
SWL Awards and Pro Signs & Designs will be the presenting sponsors on Saturday night. SWL Awards has a long-standing relationship with not only Woodhull Raceway, but many area tracks and series providing some of the best and professionally assembled award plaques and trophies.
Pro Signs and Designs is also an area motorsports staple and will co-sponsor the evening of exciting door-to-door racing on the Steuben County third-mile oval.
All of Woodhull Raceway’s racing divisions will be on hand including the Insinger Performance 370 Modifieds, NAPA Crate Sportsman, SWL 360 Late Models, Joe Willcox Performance Automatics Street Stocks, Daugherty Auto Sales Mini Stocks, Woodhull Auto Supply Front Wheel Drives and non-points Daugherty Auto Sales Warriors.
The Woodhull Warriors have been added to the weekly schedule for the remainder of the season, however only the dates posted on the 2016 schedule will count for points the rest of the season as voted on by the drivers and parents in the division. This week is a non-points paying event for the Warriors.
Fans can find their way into the grandstands Saturday at 4:30 for only $12 for adults 13 and up. Seniors and ages 8-12 will be $6. Children 7 and under are always free at Woodhull Raceway. Free camping is offered on the speedway grounds for those wishing to make it a weekend of family, friends and dirt track racing.

Woodhull Racewat can be found in Woodhull, NY, just 30 minutes West of Corning, NY, competing
weekly on Saturday nights from mid-April all the way until Labor Day Weekend. The track offer
numerous special invents including the Patriot Sprint Tour 360 Sprints and the Short Track Super Series Modifieds in mid-August.
