(WOODHULL) – Saturday night will see Mike Emhof’s Patriot Sprint Tour return to the third-mile bullring at Woodhull Raceway to run the rain date for their show that was washed out by Mother Nature back on May 14th.
When the 360 sprint cars take to “New York’s Toughest Bullring” it is a sight of epic proportions as the skill of the drivers and the raw horsepower of the methanol breathing 360 cubic inch engines collide.
The Colonial Hotel, Outman Equipment and Kim’s Old Country Store will team up to present the night’s racing action at Woodhull Raceway.
Also on tap will be the thirty-five lap special for the Daugherty Auto Sales Mini Stocks. Chris Daugherty has always stepped up in a huge way on this night each year, as the Mini Stocks will race for $350-to-win. There will also be an additional $1,000 added to the overall purse that will be on the line.
The Mini Stock division should be exciting to watch as Ron Dailey Jr. has now pulled himself into a tie for the points lead with Williamsport, PA driver Karl Born. Last week’s feature winner Chris Woodard is also now just six markers out of the lead, making the race wide open as they enter the sixth points race of the 2016 season.
All regular divisions will be on hand including the Daugherty Auto Sales Warriors. Racers and race fans can expect a thrilling and fast paced show to get all features in within a timely fashion.
Fans can find their way into the grandstands Saturday at 4:30 for only $18 for adults 13 and up. Seniors and ages 8-12 will be $10. Children 7 and under are always free at Woodhull Raceway.
Our weekly Early Bird Special runs from 4:30pm-5:30pm and offers $1 off general admission. Woodhull Raceway offers plenty of space for free camping on site. The green flag for the first set of heat races will be dropped by Scott Lyon at 6:30pm.
