(Woodhull, NY) – NAPA Auto Parts in Addison, NY is making the deal even sweeter to compete with the NAPA Crate Sportsman in 2016. As they have done in the past, their NAPA location will be awarding $25 gift certificates to Woodhull Raceway Crate Sportsman heat race winners.

Those $25 gift certificates are good for product purchases at the Addison NAPA Auto Parts location. Woodhull Raceway owner and promoter Ted White detailed the importance of great partnerships, like Woodhull has with the area NAPA stores, to help promote local short track racing and it's drivers.

"Partners like the folks from NAPA help us provide a great racing product to our fans," said White. "The way we do that is with the great racing talent that supports our track. We are thankful that the folks from NAPA are coming on board to help us support those drivers with programs like the heat race winner giveaways."

Although the announcement comes as we enter the third official week of racing at 'New York's Toughest Bullring', the program official began in week 1. Meaning any Crate Sportsman driver who has won a heat race in weeks 1 and 2, have already won the first set of $25 gift certificates for the Addison NAPA location.

Tim Guild and Chris Daugherty have been the first drivers to find NAPA Crate Sportsman success in 2016, with both drivers also having started out the season with a pair of top five finishes. Week 1 was a non-points event due to the cancelled pre-season practice sessions, with last week offering 25 show-up points due to the $1,000-to-win special.

This week will be the first full points show of the season for the Crates. Along with the NAPA giveaways, heat races also offer points for the top three positions with first place receiving three points, two points for second and one point for third.

When you win a NAPA Crate Sportsman heat race, you twice as you take the three bonus points and the $25 gift certificate at night's end. Action returns this Saturday night presented by Mountain Dew and Pepsi, as the Insinger Performance 370 Modifieds also join the week 3 racing card.

Saturday night's action with the Modifieds will be joined by the NAPA Crate Sportsman, SWL Awards 360 Late Models, Joe Willcox Performance Automatics Street Stocks, Daugherty Auto Sales Mini Stocks and Woodhull Auto Supply Front Wheel Drives.

Fans can find their way into the grandstands Saturday night for $11 with the gates opening up at 4:30pm, with Scott Lyon's first green flag dropping at 6:30pm.
