Drivers across all divisions have been showing their interest for the show that creates one of the Horseheads, N.Y. mall’s busiest weekends all season long. This year’s car show will take place Saturday March 19th and Sunday March 20th with move-in night taking place on the evening of Friday March 18th.
One driver who has signed up and is ready to show off their 2016 Street Stock is Dylan Cecce and car owner Dylan Potter. ‘The Dylan and Dylan Show’ capped off a championship season in 2015 on the high banks and are prepared to defend their title when the season kicks off on Saturday April 16th at 6:30PM. One change for the 2016 car show will turn a lot of heads and spark the interest of the local race teams in attendance. For the first time in several years, Woodhull Raceway is proud to announce the Team Pit Stop Competition held in center court will return on Saturday evening, slated to begin at 6:30PM. Teams of 3 will be accepted featuring a jack man, tire carrier and tire changer, with crewmembers being allowed to enter the contest on only one team. The competition will feature changing a right rear tire in the fastest amount of time without leaving any lug nuts loose.
The fastest three pit crews will be awarded prizes as well as the ‘Best Appearing Team’. Teams may register at the show OR by emailing the team name and team members to woodhullracewaypr@gmail.com. There is no entry fee to enter your race vehicle into the car show, but you must submit your entry by Friday March 11th, 2016.
