ASCS PATRIOT SPRINTS ADDED TO AN ALREADY AGGRESSIVE MAY 17 SCHEDULE AT THE WOODHULL RACEWAY.
Woodhull also welcomes Kinship Youth Family Services of Hornell.
Butters Homes of Mansfield to sponsor the big event.
(Woodhull, NY) The ASCS Patriot Sprints will become a part of the Woodhull Raceway schedule of events as the popular northeast touring group will make their second appearance in as many seasons. Track owner, Vern Wasson has worked diligently with Mike Emhoff of the ASCS group to put the deal together which will see the Nationally Sanctioned Sprint Organization make a return visit to the high banked one-third of a mile clay oval. Last year, Chuck Hebing blistered the field in a 20 lap green to checkered flag run that lasted some 5 minutes.
In addition to the ASCS Patriot Sprint event it will be a Regular Show of five of Woodhull’s weekly divisions including the L.J. Kennedy Trucking 358 Modifieds, the Morgan’s Auto Repair Street Stocks, the Signs Plus Mini Stocks, the S&W Awards and Photos Crate Sportsman as well as the LaBarron Brothers Repair and Parts Front Wheel Drive class. The NAPA 360 Late Models will have the night off.
Gates for the May 17 show open at 4:30 with racing at 6:30. Representatives of Butters Homes, Rt. 6 in Mansfield, Pa. will be at Woodhull to sponsor the event as they will enjoy the full night of activity from the confines of Woodhull’s VIP lounge area.
