GEORGE WILLIAMS MEMORIAL EVENT SET FOR THE WOODHULL RACEWAY ON SATURDAY, MAY 24, 2008.

The Addison Farm Supply to sponsor the show named in honor of Woodhull’s founding father.

(Woodhull, NY)  There are many traditions at the Woodhull Raceway and perhaps one of the most popular is the annual running of the George Williams Memorial event which this year is set to go on May 24.  Each year Woodhull kicks off the summer holiday season with this traditional event and back once again to sponsor the program is the Addison Farm Supply.  Located on Rt. 417 just west of Addison, NY the Terwilliger Family is huge supporters of the weekly racing at Woodhull.  As dealers of Dixie Chopper Lawn Mowers, Cub Cadet Mowers and Troy Built Lawn and Garden Equipment, the Woodhull Raceway is pleased to say that all three brands are used at the track on a daily basis and according to track owner, Vern Wasson, “The equipment that we have at the track gets used pretty hard during the summer months.  The mowers that we use are a testament to how good the equipment is that the Addison Farm Supply sells.  We put the stuff through its paces.”  Terry and Julie Terwilliger along with many of their family members, friends and patrons will enjoy the night of action from the confines of the VIP area high atop Woodhull’s mammoth front straight a way grandstand seating area.  They will also have a huge display at the track all evening long for fans to see and sales representatives of the company will be on board to answer any questions.

The Addison Farm Supply is also the weekly sponsor of the Woodhull Raceway Start/Finish Line

On the track the L.J. Kennedy Trucking 358 Modifieds will run a special extra distance feature and it will be a regular show of the NAPA 360 Late Models, the Morgan’s Auto Repair Street Stocks, the S&W Awards and Photos Crate Sportsman as well as the Signs Plus Mini Stocks and the LaBarron Brothers Repair and Parts Front Wheel Drive Division.  Gates for the May 24 show open at 4:30 with racing at 6:30 pm.  For more information go to the web at www.woodhullraceway.com.
