THE WOODHULL RACEWAY ANNOUNCES ADDITIONAL RULES FOR THOSE  ATTENDING THE 2008 ARNOT MALL CAR SHOW.

(Woodhull, NY)  After receiving numerous requests from race teams and other individuals about available space for the displaying and potential sale of goods at the upcoming Woodhull Raceway/Redline Raceway/Clinton County Raceway Arnot Mall Car Show the tracks have released the following statement. 

“Like last year, teams wishing to display any goods other than their race car can do so.  For example should a team have a sponsor that wishes to show a particular item, that item is for show purposes only and not for any re-sale on the Arnot Mall Grounds. The track does allow any or all of its current sponsors available room should they wish to display any of their company’s goods or services, to have sales representatives on location and to hand out any pamphlets or any other pertinent information, but that is it.  It has worked very well in the past and we will continue that tradition this year.  However, there will be no sale of any goods or services at the car show simply because that is exactly what it is, “A Car Show” and not “A Flea Market or Craft Show”!  We have a tremendous relationship with the management team at the Arnot Mall and we plan to continue playing by their rules as we want this show to continue for many years to come.”

 One additional item: 

Remember race teams, the use of any tire shining liquids is strictly forbidden once inside the Arnot Mall.  This has become an issue in the past and it will not happen this year.  Inspectors will be watching very closely as cars are rolled into position for any violators.  If anyone is caught with a wet tire sidewall (They can be shined in other ways) they will be made to dry them off immediately.  Same goes for the body, NO LIQUIDS!

Remember, the entire car must be sitting on some type of a cover.  (Cardboard, Plastic, Rug)  Use some ingenuity and it can look real sharp. 

If you drip on the floor, you will be held accountable, not the race track!!!

Any type of smoke making machines are prohibited 

Thanks again and keep registering for the show either via E-mail at www.woodhullraceway.com or call the track winter office at (607) 458-5616.  The cut off date is March 23, 2008.  DON”T DELAY!  This is shaping up to be one of our best ever car shows.  Cars for many touring groups that will make an appearance at the participating tracks in 2008 will be on display.  ESS, Vintage Antiques, 360 LM, T3 All Star’s, IMCA, Pro-Trucks.  

There WILL NOT be a mass mailing sent out about the car show.  Drivers that have cars registered are asked to be at the Arnot Mall on Friday, April 4, 2008 for a meeting at 8:00 pm near center court.  If the driver can not attend have another representative of the car there to pick up a map of where the car is to be parked inside the Mall and what door to enter.  Actual entry into Mall will start at approximately 9:45 to 10:00 pm
